Review in pics: 100% Love
The Telugu flick from Sukumar comes with high expectations. The audience expects more than run-of-the-mill films and usually the director lives up to expectations. The films may not be a hit at the box-office (like his debut film Arya) but they have a dedicated following.

Broadly, 100% Love is a romance with a twist. Balu Mahendra (Naga Chaitanya) is a topper in college and his cousin Maha Lakshmi (Tamanna) comes to his house to continue her studies. She turns out to be a better student and outperforms Balu in college, much to his chagrin.
-
Balu tries to distract Maha Lakshmi but someone else is a topper now. Meanwhile, Maha Lakshmi tries to get out of a proposal. Balu and Maha Lakshmi help each other out and end up falling in love.
-
The rest of the movie shows the ups and downs of love, but ends happily. Most of the scenes and situations are refreshing. Remember, this is a complex(and daring) angle.
-
The second half of the film focuses on family values and relationships, which gets pompous and monotonous at times.
-
Among the lead actors, Naga Chaitanya needs to improve his repertoire of expressions. Tamanna proves her mettle yet again.
-
On the technical side, the cinematography and detailing in the film are delightful. Despite a modest budget, the quality has been maintained.
-
Final word: Watch the film if you are young (in heart at least). It's fresh and entertaining.
-
On the downside, the climax is somewhat confusing and may not appeal to the masses.
