Manchu Manoj plays a cellphone thief who calls himself Nokia or Nookayya. His partners in crime are his friends, Nampally (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) and Chaa Chaa (Vennela Kishore).
-
Sana Khan (Shilpa in the movie) plays Nookayya's love interest. High maintenance Shilpa demands a house, a car and cash from Nookayya before she'll agree to marry him and Nookayya sets out to deliver.
-
Elsewhere, newly-wed couple Anuradha (Kriti Kharbanda) and Kiran (Raja) move to Bengaluru where Kiran is kidnapped by a gang headed by villain Shahjahan (Murali Sharma).
-
Shahjahan asks for a ransom of Rs 2 crore and Anuradha steals the money from the bank she works on. The two stories overlap when Nookayya steals the money from her.
-
Things get complicated when Shilpa and Nookayya's friend Chaa Chaa escapes with the money.
-
Manchu Manoj delivers a fun performance and has choreographed his own action sequences.
-
Sana Khan adds to the glam quotient and Kriti Kharbanda's performance is commendable.
-
What works best for the film is the cinematography by Rajasekhar. The action sequences shot in slow-motion sync well with the plot.
-
Ani Kanneganti's direction could have been better as he fails to create a smooth narrative.
