Chandu and Siri are friends from school who continue their friendship even after they grow up. While Siri acts like a responsible daughter, mischievous Chandu is always giving trouble to his parents.
Chandu's father Tanikella Bharani wants his son to complete his MBA and find a good job, whereas Chandu wants to become a musician. -
One day Chandu gets a call to participate in a music competition in Kerala. Chandu, Siri, Ritu and Navdeep go to Kerala.
Here begins the friction between the couples as Navdeep and Ritu get jealous of the deep bond of friendship shared by Siri and Chandu.
Both mistake their friendship for love and Navdeep asks Siri to choose between him and her friend.
Ritu too follows suit and matters take a turn for worse when Siri and Chandu's parents think that the two should get married. How Siri and Chandu manage to resolve this problem forms the basis for the remaining part of the story. -
Oh! My Friend can best be described a simple story of love and friendship.
And while the director succeeds in portraying this in an effective manner, what is missing is a creative approach to the subject.
The film is specifically targeted towards the urban youth and hence the appeal is limited.
Oh! My Friend is a neat film that can be watched by everyone but not everyone may connect with the film.
