i>Renigunta is the story of Shakti (Johnny) who turns into a gangster after his parents were killed in front of him by the villain Kathir.

Caught in a murder attempt, Shakti was arrested and put into jail where he became friends with his prison mates.

Shakti and his friends escape prison and decide to kill Kathir. They decide to go to Mumbai where they plan to become big gangsters. But they land at Renigunta where they come across Bunker (Bunker), who acts as mediator between contract killers and clients.

Actress Sanusha plays the female lead as a deaf girl and Shakti's love interest.

As the girl's brother plans to push her to flesh trade, Shakti decides to elope with her after completing a murder for a local goon.

The murder attempt fails and Shakti's friend are brutally killed.

The actors put up a good performance especially Ganesan (Dabba in the movie) whose comic timing was commendable.

Debutant director Panneerselvam's screenplay and clean script holds the narrative well.

Music director Ganesh Ragavendra does a decent job.
