The movie starts with the return of Rama and Sita to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravan in Lanka. -
Rama becomes the king of Ayodhya and the people are happy under his rule. But just when things appear fine, Sita is banished to the forests by Ram. -
Valmiki gives shelter to Sita and looks after her as his own daughter. -
Sita then gives birth to Luv and Kush. Valmiki imparts knowledge to them and also teaches them how to use weapons. -
Luv and Kush also learn about the heroic Ram and Valmiki asks them to preach his story across the length and breadth of Ayodhya. -
One day Rama reaches Valmiki's ashram, where he is united with his sons. -
As far as performance is concerned, Balakrishna as Lord Rama is simply superb. He carries the role with the necessary poise, dignity and intensity. -
Nayanthara as Sita is expressive and beautiful. -
ANR completely suits the role of Valmiki. -
Music, graphics, cinematography and good costumes are some of the highlights of the movie. -
In all, Sri Rama Rajyam is a feel-good film that brilliantly showcases our ancient culture. -
