Legendary Tamil filmmaker K Balachander died in Chennai at the age of 84 after prolonged age-related illness. Celebrities took to Twitter to grieve the loss of a great director and godfather to fresh talent in the Tamil industry. He gave breaks to Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Prakash Raj.
