Saif Kareena wedding: Who wore what

All eyes were on Kareena Kapoor's outfits as she married boyfriend of five years Saif Ali Khan in a week of celebrations. Manish Malhotra was bride Kareena Kapoor's designer for all but one outfit. At the sangeet, she looked exquisite in a traditional orange lehenga with a golden blouse, complete with the same neckpiece and earrings that she wore at her elder sister Karisma's wedding. Kareena did away with her gajra and chignon look at the mehendi ceremony where let her hair down and wore diamond jewellery.

The much anticipated wedding of the year saw some of the Bollywood celebs at their stylish best. Here is a look at who wore what during the wedding celebrations.

On the day of her marriage registration, the new bride looked elegant in a Manish Malhotra green salwar-kurta with a heavy embellished red dupatta.

Kareena exchanged vows with husband Saif in a traditional gharara that her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore had worn at her own wedding, and later changed into a burgundy gharara with maroon dupatta by Manish Malhotra.

At the Delhi reception, Kareena wore another Manish Malhotra gharara, this one in shades of pink and with heavy embellishment. She wore heavy gold jewellery to match and had her hair up.

Sister Karisma Kapur who was seen in earthy shades throughout the wedding celebrations also wore designer and friend Manish Malhotra's outfits. While for the sangeet, she was seen in a green lehenga, Karisma kept it simple in a white suit during the registration and opted for a ornate white lehenga by Manish for the evening.

Saif's sister Soha was a fashion diva at her brother's wedding. Her Anamika Khanna outfit for the sangeet may have left some eyebrows raised but she didn't miss a beat at the mehendi where she dressed to impress in a vibrant sari and shimmery blouse. At the wedding, Soha shimmered in a white and gold lehenga.

Light and nude colours were common during the wedding celebrations as most celebs were seen wearing the hues. The groom's mother Sharmila Tagore looked as elegant as ever in a pale sari during the wedding registration of her son. She also chose a pale yellow silk with antique jewellery for the Delhi reception.

Neetu Kapoor joined the celebration as part of the Kapoor clan. Her choice of designer for the occasion were designer duo Abu-Sandeep. At the sangeet, the actress was lovely in nude coloured suit. For her niece's wedding, she opted for a white suit with gota work.

Saif's daughter with his first wife Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan, glittered in a pastel lehenga, at the sangeet. Sara wore a neon green and pink anarkali at the Delhi reception.

Saif's jewellery designer sister Saba Ali Khan glittered in gold at the mehendi and wedding. For the mehendi, she opted for a white anarkali with gold embellishment. At the wedding, she glittered in a gold lehenga.

Shweta Nanda dazzled in a golden sari at Saif and Kareena's reception.

Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan's lacy lehenga at the wedding reception shone like diamonds were embedded in the outfit.

For a fashionista, Sonam Kapoor's white and gold sari with a pink blouse was a tad bit disappointing at the wedding.

Malaika Arora Khan knows how to grab eyeballs as she looked gorgeous in a pink lehenga by designer Shehla Khan at the sangeet.

Malaika's sister and Kareena best friend, Amrita Arora who is expecting her second baby, joined in the wedding celebrations in a Vikram Phadnis off-white and golden lehenga by Vikram Phadnis for the sangeet and a yellow suit at the reception.

Preity Zinta is seldom spotted in saris, but for Saif and Kareena's wedding reception she wore one in fire engine res.

Salman Khan's sister Alvira was radiant in this Falguni and Shane Peacock outfit at the wedding reception.

Friend of the family, Anu Dewan was in a complete traditional look at the ceremonies. At sangeet, she was spotted in a blue churidar by designer duo Abu-Sandeep. Anu opted for a pastel suit for the wedding.

Krishika Lulla of Eros International was bright in a green lehenga by designer Vikram Phadnis for the sangeet.

Socialite Natasha Poonawala was dazzling in a pink and silver Sabyasachi lehenga at the sangeet.
But she disappointed with her white and silver lehenga at the wedding.

While everyone dressed in ethnic wear at the mehendi ceremony, socialite Haseena Jethmalani was out of place in a black dress. But she made up for it at the wedding reception in a pink sari with blue border.
