The cast and crew of Chala Musaddi Office Office, the film version of the popular television series starring Pankaj Kapur as the titular character, at a recent event to launch the film. Funnily enough, Pankaj Kapur was the only one missing from the proceedings, though we hear that was because he's busy adding the final touches to his directorial debut, Mausam, starring his son Shahid Kapoor. Chala Musaddi Office Office is directed by Rajiv Mehra.

Hemant Pandey, who plays the paan-chewing Pandeyji, shows off his oeuvre in his own inimitable style.

Asawari Joshi, who played the cute-but-corrupt mouthy Ushaji in the series, was seen flashing her famous smile and we must say age hasn't dulled her features at all!

Deven Bhojani, who played the subtly corrupt government official, Mr. Patel in the tv series, seemed in character, as it's terribly difficult to understand what's making him smile. We're glad Mr. Bhojani is reprising his role in the film, since in the new season of the effervescent show, he was replaced by Vrajesh Hirjee, of Golmaal fame.

Farida Jalal, who's new show Ammaji Ki Gali is making waves on television, has also joined the cast of Chala Musaddi Office Office. That's an addition we have absolutely no complaints against.
