Prominent personalities from Bollywood visited Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray who was reported to be critically ill and on life support late Wednesday night. Here, Salman Khan arrives at Thackeray residence Matoshree in Mumbai on Thursday.

Salman made his way through the gathered crowd and the tight security. On Wednesday night, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan suffered some cuts as they fought through the crowd outside Matoshree.
Salman's father Salim Khan also came to meet the ailing Shiv Sena chief.
Salim Khan was accompanied by younger son Arbaaz Khan.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was also among the visitors. Anxious partymen and well-wishers also gathered outside Matoshree as the news of Bal Thackeray's deteriorating health spread late Wednesday evening.
A concerned Mithun Chakraborty also paid a visit. Bollywood showed it's support to the Shiv Sena chief by suspending many film and TV serial shoots on Thursday.
