Sangeetha sizzles in Dhanam

South actress Sangeetha is back withDhanam. The film has been directed by G Shiva and jointly produced by Addala Venkat Rao and Selvam.

Music maestro Ilayaraja has scored music for this film.

Sultry Sangeetha plays the role of a prostitute, who is in the flesh trade to help the poor people in her colony.

Sangeetha's character finds love in an admirer who wants to marry her.

According to reports, the movie was scheduled to release in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, but it was released in Tamil before and was successful.

Dhanam has been shot in Hyderabad and Tamil Nadu.

The film's producers believe that Dhanam will prove to be a milestone in Sangeetha's career. The film's audio is expected to release soon.

Sangeetha started her acting career in late 90's, opposite Telugu comedian Ali and was mostly seen in low budget films.

Her role in Telugu movie Khadgam opposite Ravi Teja in 2002 got her recognition.

Then she was seen opposite Vikram, Suriya Sivakumar and Laila in the National Award winning Pithamagan.

Later, she appeared in the moderate hit Uyir as a possessive woman wanting her brother in law.

She was seen romancing Madhavan in Evano Oruvan, produced by Abbas Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla.

Dhanam is slated to release later this month.
