Bollywood divas have always preferred to wear the nine yards fabric at award functions... A look at some of the divas who carried it with elan this year.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Manish Malhotra: Aishwarya wore a sequined cream saree. Though not one of the best from her collection, she still managed to look pretty.
Vidya Balan, Sabyasachi: Vidya chose a plain black Sabyasachi saree with a stunning gold and red border. And the highly detailed neck piece takes the cake.
Preity Zinta, Manish Malhotra: We only wish she would wear sarees more often! After a long phase of no appearances Preity looks lovely in the maroonish net saree which goes perfectly with her glow.
Dia Mirza, Gaurav Gupta: Dia looked stunning in this concept saree and teamed it up with a unusual black net blouse. With a perfect face like that how could she go wrong.
Shriya Saran, Sabyasachi : The saree looks fab and very traditional with those earrings. If only she would've draped it better.
Rekha: We wish we could say something good about Rekha's entire look. But the saree is just tacky and loud. She could have definitely chosen one from her amazing wardrobe.
Eesha Narang: Not very flattering outfits generally, but then here Eesha with husband Timmy Narang looks surprisingly good in this white and gold not a very over the top saree, with just the right amount of jewellery.
Poonam Dhillon: We're not very big fans of Poonam's dressing sense anyway. However, she doesn't look bad in this green and pink bordered saree.
Claudia Ciesla: Nothing very fancy here, the Bigg Boss participant chose a floral green and blue saree looking as simple as she could.
Mini Mathur: Television Host Mini looked elegant in a white saree. She should've draped the saree better and ofcourse the sloppy posture.
