Shah Rukh's Birthday Party Part One: Ranbir, Karan, Shweta Nanda

Shah Rukh Khan is the king of good times. The actor opened the gates of this Alibaugh beach house for his famous friends to join him at his birthday party, which started Tuesday evening. The actor celebrates his 51st birthday today. Shah Rukh is expected to continue celebrations at his Mumbai residence tonight.

SRK celebrated with filmmaker Karan Johar and his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.

Ranbir was spotted catching up with the rest of the guests at the venue.

Gauri was uber-chic in a loose white top and denim shorts. Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Nanda, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and Kaajal Anand were also dressed in casuals.

We got a better glimpse of Shweta at the verandah.

The buggy was overloaded with Shah Rukh's guests.

Earlier in the day, guests were photographed arriving in their cars. Actor Sanjay Kapoor and his daughter Shanaya were in the early bird guests list.

Imtiaz Ali, who directs Shah Rukh in an upcoming film reportedly titled The Ring, also arrived on the eve of SRK's birthday.

Shanaya and Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana bonded well at the party.
