Shilpa, Raj take newborn son home

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra Friday took their newborn son home from the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.

Shilpa gave birth on Monday, May 21. She looked casual and fresh as she walked out of the hospital around 12:30 pm today, accompanied by Raj, who held the baby close to him.

36-year-old Shilpa was wearing a buttoned-down blue and black tunic and leggings.

Shilpa looked healthy and happy and thanked the media for being there.

The newborn's name will be decided once his maternal grandmother, Sunanda Shetty, picks an initial.

Shilpa and Raj tied the knot in 2009. This is Raj's second child - he has a daughter called Deleena with ex-wife Kavita.

Mom-to-be Shilpa Shetty's sister Shamita and friend Kiran Bawa organised a grand baby shower ceremony last week for the actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Raj Kundra.

About the ceremony, Shilpa tweeted, "A big thankuuu 2 al my friends who came nd made me feel soo special 2day.Openin baby gifts nd looking fwd to this new phase in my life."

Raj Kundra tweeted this picture of himself with Shilpa and R Madhavan's wife, Sarita. He wrote "@ActorMadhavan missing you at the baby shower!! I feel like Krishan Kanaya with so many women :)"
