Manmadhan Ambu is a romantic comedy with a dash of action. -
The script has been written by Kamal Haasan himself. -
The film is directed by KS Ravikumar. He has already worked with the biggest names in southern cinema, from Rajinikanth to, now, Kamal Haasan. -
The film will also feature Ramesh Arvind, Sangeetha, Manju Pillai and Usha Uthup in supporting roles. -
But the brief, yet strong appearance will be that of Surya Sivakumar and Oviya. -
Extensively shot around Europe, a key location for the film was a cruise ship as well. -
Manmadhan Ambu is currently in the post-production phase. -
Kamal Haasan opted against reviving his home production Marmayogi and chose to do this film instead. -
According to reports, Trisha Krishnan and Madhavan were added after a few months of the project being in its pre-production stage. -
With rumoured titles doing rounds, Yaavarum Kaelir and Karunyam, in June 2010 at the launch ceremony, the title Manmadhan Ambu was confirmed. -
The grand audio launch was held in Singapore. -
The music for the film has been provided by Devi Sri Prasad. -
The album features 7 tracks, featuring lyrics Kamal Haasan himself and Viveka. Haasan, along with Trisha, had lent his voice for a specially arranged song, apart from performing two other songs. -
