Sreeram, Rakesh, Bhoomi set for Indian Idol finale
Indian Idol 5 finale , which is to be held on the 15th of August, is being promoted vigorously. The engaging talent of the finalists and the judges guarantees an alluring and gratifying finale , not to be missed!!
As the fifth season of the "desi' version of American Idol comes to an end, a ,lot of people are eagerly awaiting the grand finale where the three finalists battle it out for the coveted position of the Indian Idol
Finalist Sreeram Chandra is believed to be technically superior and more versatile than the other two. He is the audience's favourite , having already made his debut in the Telugu film industry.
The city of Taj had been already started holding campaigns to support him , with Chak Dhoom Dhoom winner Sparsh Srivastav joining the crowd on the streets.

Finalist Bhoomi Trivedi from Baroda, who had auditioned and even got selected for the fourth season, is giving tough competition to the other two finalists.
Salim Merchant, who has made his TV debut with the reality show, says that he never saw himself as a playback singer, more like a songwriter with limitations. He hopes to help the finalists make a well deserved mark in the industry.
Salim seems to think that new singer and budding talents on the show have huge potential to excel in playback singing, as their voices are fresh and raw. He jokingly claims to be playing the role of Randy Jackson from American Idol .
Sunidhi Chauhan wants every singer on the show to use every shade of their voices to be able to excel in tough competition, and believes that all three finalists are very talented.
When Rakesh Maini got eliminated, the judges had to use their veto power to save him. This power can only be used once in a season. The general consensus seems to be that the decision was a wise one!
