Star Spotting: Madhuri Dixit at food show

The beauty with the million-dollar smile, Madhuri Dixit-Nene is painting the town golden these days. Madhuri, who is back in India, made another appearance in a saree at the launch of a food show in Mumbai.

Though we usually like what Madhuri wears, the saree with the gold border didn't quite catch our fancy.

The Mayor of Mumbai Shraddha Jadhav joined Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray to launch the virtual education system, Thackeray's brainchild.

"Technology is evolving everywhere. Even film industry has evolved in terms of technology. Though India is not lagging behind but there are a few people from some strata of society (who are) intelligent but they don't have the access and the opportunity," the actress said, expressing optimism.

Madhuri also asked Uddhav Thackeray to consider opening an art school.
"I love acting. Besides acting my interest lies in dancing. I would like to open a dance school. I feel importance must be given to art schools. There are not many in India. Art schools must be given equal footage as science ones. I would suggest Uddhav Thackeray to open art schools," Madhuri added.
