Stars light up IIFI 2013 opening ceremony

The 44th edition of the Indian International Film Festival, which officially opened in Goa on Tuesday, November 20, was a star studded event. Veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman received the first ever Centenary Award for Film Personality of the Year, which marks 100 years of Indian cinema.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Manish Tewari, can be seen presenting Waheedaji with the award.

Actress Rani Mukherji was also present on stage while Waheedaji was being felicitated.

Hollywood star Susan Sarandon lit the inaugural lamp.

Telugu star Rana Daggubati wore a beard and brown.

Czech director Jiri Menzel, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to world cinema, was accompanied by his wife Olga Menzelova.
