Stars pay their final respect to Shammi Kapoor in Kashmir

"Today we are here emotionally to immerse the ashes of Shammi Kapoor ji in the Jhelum," actress Shabana Azmi said.

“He will be remembered forever because Shammi Kapoor was not only a human being but was a thought, he was a man with full of life, the way he showed his courage even after he wasn't well, he set an example for people, you cannot think about Kashmir without Shammi Kapoor," Shabana said.

Actress Poonam Dhillon was also present and paid her respect to the original rockstar.

Remembering Shammi Kapoor, his co-stars called him a lively actor who enjoyed life to the fullest and also as a caring and an innocent human being.

She said, "I am feeling sad that Shammi is not among us today."

Poonam Dhillon paid her respects to the Yeh Vaada Raha co-star.
