Stars stripping for cover!

Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom's model girlfriend Miranda Kerr has stripped for the cover of a German magazine. The Australian model is shown nibbling on a candy cane in a bow-accessorised pair of undergarments on the cover of German GQ magazine.

  • The February issue of the U.S. magazine Vanity Fair features famous golfer Tiger Woods on its cover and will hit the stands this week, but in a way we have never seen him before: bare-chested and biceps bulging.

The photo was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and the magazine promises a full portfolio inside. Vanity Fair describes the photos of Woods - taken before his huge marital scandal - as raw and unguarded.

The photos emerge at a time when the man himself has remained hidden. Woods hasn't been seen since the early morning crash outside his home in November, the day after Thanksgiving. (Photo: AP)
  • Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom's model girlfriend Miranda Kerr has stripped for the cover of a German magazine.

The Australian model is shown nibbling on a candy cane in a bow-accessorised pair of undergarments on the cover of German GQ magazine, Sun online reported. The pair were said to have got engaged and were soon planning to walk the aisle when Bloom's brother told a magazine, "He's finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They're getting married."

Here's a look at other stars who have stripped for 'cover'!
  • R&B star Rihanna's raunchy makeover continues, as the pop singer graced a magazine cover in little more than a pair of leather hotpants.

Despite her arms being strategically placed to hide her assets, the daring shot of a topless Rihanna leaves little to the imagination, Daily Mail online reported.

Rihanna is seen featured of the forthcoming issue of the US edition of GQ magazine as she continues her high-profile publicity campaign for new album Rated R. And it's clear she is keen to push the boundaries both visually and musically.

Rihanna says that she has worked hard to re launch her career following the abuse incident she suffered at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
  • Singer Rihanna has sparked an Internet frenzy by going topless for her new single Wait Your Turn. The cover jacket shows Rihanna with her left hand draped across her bare chest and right hand raised to the forehead.
  • Janet had also stripped down for the cover of her 2001 release 'All for You'. The tracks inside were just as suggestive. 'Would You Mind', 'Love Scene' and the title track all continued the sex-obsessed turn that Janet's career had first taken with 'Velvet Rope'. The album became Jackson's fifth consecutive album to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart, selling 605,000 units in its opening week, and shipped over 1.8 million units in its first week in the US.
  • 'Stripped', the title of Christina Aguilera's second English studio album in 2002, was supposed to refer to her emotional state. But she also chose to make it her physical state by going topless for the album cover, where the only nod to discretion is some strategically placed hair. It was a conscious departure from Christina's old sound and her 'super-clean, cookie-cutter' image.
  • American singer-songwriter and guitarist Liz Phair had shed her clothes for her debut album 'Exile in Guyville' in 1993. Ten years later she did it again for the album that carried her name.
  • 'Lovesexy', the 1988 album by Prince, is notable for the haunting gospel of 'Anna Stesia', and the hit single 'Alphabet St'. Also notable is the cover, causing some controversy as it depicted Prince in the nude, in a seemingly devout pose. Some record stores refused to stock it or censored the cover with black wrapper. • 'Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins' is an album released by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1968. The album's title came from the couple's feeling that they were "two innocents, lost in a world gone mad", and because after making the recording, the two consummated their relationship for the first time. The couple used a time-delay camera to take nude photographs of themselves, for the album's cover; the front showed them frontally nude, while the rear showed them from behind. The cover provoked an outrage, prompting distributors to sell the album in a plain brown wrapper. Copies of the album were impounded as obscene in several jurisdictions. Lennon commented that the uproar seemed to have less to do with the explicit nudity, and more to do with the fact that the pair were rather unattractive (and the photo unflattering; Lennon described it later as a picture of "two slightly overweight ex-junkies"). Nevertheless, the taboo-breaking album cover was perhaps the first time that a male celebrity of any consequence had exposed himself so thoroughly to the public. (Text: Wikipedia)
  • American rap artist Lil' Kim's third album 'La Bella Mafia' sold 166,000 copies in the first week of its release in March 2003. It has since sold over 1 million copies worldwide and gone Platinum. Clearly Lil' Kim's voice is as sexy as her album cover!
  • International Belgian-Italian singer Lara Fabian released 'A wonderful life' in English in 2004, and then followed it up with '9' in French a year later. For the art work of the album Fabian undressed to pose in some sensual positions. The cover had a photo of her symbolising 'rebirth'.
