The film has been directed by Sidharth Malhotra of Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ta Ra Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste fame.

It is for the first time that Ranbir and Priyanka will be seen on screen.

Priyanka shared this poster on her Twitter account.

Ranbir, Priyanka compliment each other in every possible way.

Priyanka plays the role of a woman based in San Francisco, while Ranbir essays the role of a boy from New York City. They meet in NYC and travel across cities.

The film has been shot entirely in the US, across many cities including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco.

"The thought behind Anjaana Anjaani is that all great love stories start out as people meeting as strangers before they fall in love with each other," said Siddharth.

"Apart from Priyanka and Ranbir being a fresh combination, it's the first pure, young, cool love story from my banner, Nadiadwala Grandsons, and Siddharth is the right director for the job. He is very focused and works 18 hours only on the film," said Sajid Nadiawala.

The story has been written by Siddharth's wife Mamta.

Priyanka also tweeted a minute long teaser of her forthcoming film and the film looks like a fun to watch.

Ranbir's last outing was a serious political drama Rajneeti.

Meanwhile, without wasting any time Ranbir Kapoor began promotions for Anjaana Anjaani in Mumbai.
