Super Nani, Without Super Nani Herself

Veteran actress Rekha skipped the last minute promotions and screening of her latest film Super Nani. Instead, actors Sharman Joshi and Shweta Kumar, director Indra Kumar's daughter who makes her Bollywood debut with the film, took charge of the promotions, beginning with a radio channel.

Shweta opted for a sober monochrome look while Sharman was bright in a kurta teamed with denims.

At the screening of the film, Shweta looked sassy in a black dress. She added colour to her look with red pumps and nail enamel.

Actress Shreya Narayan failed to impress in a black skirt and red high-necked top.

Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, who plays the role of Rekha's husband in the film, was also spotted at the do.

Veteran actor Prem Chopra came with his wife Uma.

Actor Rajesh Kumar was dressed casually at the do.

Super Nani Rekha donned the hat of a super singer for the promotions of her upcoming film on the sets of popular TV show Comedy Nights With Kapil. The actress will be soon seen in Indra Kumar's film Super Nani.

Rekha, dressed in her usual sari style decked with gold jewellery, sings with the show's host Kapil Sharma.

Super Nani and ‘Super Dadi' share a light moment.

While Dadi may not mess with the Super Nani she definitely wants her chance with Rekha's onscreen husband, actor Randhir Kapoor.

Actor Shahid Kapoor was the guest of honour on Comedy Nights With Kapil where he was promoting his upcoming film Haider. Shahid, seen here feeding some grass to Kapil's ‘standee goat,' was making his third appearance on the popular show.

He was also joined on the show by actors Kay Kay Menon and Tabu, who play his uncle and mother in the film. Here, Kay Kay takes his filmy bhabhi for a ride on his flying moped during the show.

Here we see Kay Kay and Tabu interacting with Kapil Sharma and his screen Dadi, played by Ali Asgar.

Kapil and Honey Singh, who kept his sunglasses on all through, try to appease an excited Dadi (Ali Asgar) who was dressed in a completely Punjabi look.

Kapil's Bua (Upasana Singh) made sure she caught the rapper's attention and even made him perform with her on stage.

Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha promoted their upcoming movie Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara on TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil on Thursday, August 1.

Ladies man Akshay Kumar made a grand entry fit for a powerful underworld kingpin, his character in the film. The actor came dressed in character and the bevy of beauties who surrounded him looked only too pleased to be in the company of one of India's most desirable men.

Quick gun Akshay skipped the stairs and slid down the railing in his hurry to get on with the show.

Imran Khan, who was also on promotion duty, seemed like he felt a little left out as TV actress Sumona Chakravarti cosied up to Akshay.

But never fear, Imran found a “female” fan of his own. TV actor Ali Asgar, in drag, seemed to have developed a liking for the young Khan, pulling an unwilling Imran to centrestage.

However, Imran too got into the spirit of things and into a clinch with a smitten Ali Asgar

Even though Akshay later joined in the fun, Ali had eyes only for Imran.

Also on the show was actress Sonakshi Sinha who was reduced to tears of laughter by the antics of Ali and gang, as was Imran.

Sonakshi took to the stage to show off her dance moves as an elated Akshay and Imran looked on.

Akshay demonstrated some of his famed martial arts moves watched by a completely petrified Kiku Sharda.
