Sushil Kumar, a computer operator and tutor who earns Rs.6,000 per month, went on to win the top prize in the show hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

According to sources, over five million people participated in the auditions for KBC 4 , though the prize money was decreased to Rs 1 crore. However, the format of the show was tweaked to include a jackpot question with a prize booty of 5 crore.
