Telugu actress Charmee turns 25
Beautiful Telugu actress Charmee Kaur who was last spotted at the felicitation of veteran actor and Nagarjuna's father Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) who completed 75 years as an actor, in April last month, celebrates her 25th birthday today.

Charmee, who worked with Big B in Hindi film Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap in 2011, will be seen in the long delayed upcoming Hindi movie Zilla Ghaziabad. She has also worked with big stars from the South film industry. The list include names like Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Jr. NTR, Prabhas, Siddarth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Nitin, Silambarasan and Dileep.

Telugu actress of Punjabi origin, Charmee Kaur was born on March 17, 1987 in Mumbai.

She did her schooling from Carmelite Convent English High School in Vasai.

At the age of 15 she debuted in Telugu film Nee Thodu Kaavali (2002), playing a housewife. The film failed to make a mark at the box office.

Despite the failure of her debut film, Charmee scored her next film offer, Kadhal Azhavatillai with Silambarasan. This one also bombed at the box office.

She continued her struggle in the film industry with Malayalam film Kattuchembakam, which was directed by Vinayan, and a handful of Tamil films, all of which failed at the box office.

She re-entered into Telugu movies with Neeke Manasichhaanu opposite Sreekanth but this movie tanked as well. Then, after appearing in a series of flops, she delivered her first big hit with Telugu film Gowri, followed by the success of Mass opposite Nagarjuna.

Charmee was critically acclaimed in Anukokunda Oka Roju.

In 2006, Charmee featured in Telugu film Pournami which did not perform well at the box office but fetched her accolades for her performance and dancing skills.

Charmee then delivered a series of hit films like Rakhi with NTR in 2006, Mantra in 2007, for which she earned the Nandi Award for Best Heroine, and Manorama in 2009. She even featured in films with female oriented roles, a rare phenomenon in Telugu cinema.

Charmee has also done many item numbers in movies like Bhale Dongalu, King and Mahatma.
