In a year packed with high-profile weddings, the finery on display was the very best that celebrities could muster. For once, all that glittered was certainly gold, if not diamond. Here are 10 beautiful outfits we spotted on brides and wedding guests in 2015.

Soha Ali Khan's Reception Lehenga: Soha married actor Kunal Khemu in January and looked gorgeous in a pink and gold lehenga by Sanjay Garg at her reception. She accessorized her look with a ruby neckpiece and earrings, topped by a maang tika.

Mira Rajput's Wedding Lehenga: She married a Bollywood A-lister in July but all eyes were on Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor's bride. A pale pink lehenga by Anamika Khanna helped, as did the jewellery, particularly the maang tikka and passa.

Kangana Ranaut at Masaba Gupta's Sangeet: She was sexy and she knew it. At designer Masaba's pre-wedding party, Kangana picked a cropped choli and a delicately embellished lehenga by Sabyasachi.

At Soha's reception, the bride's close friend Konkona Sen Sharma showed up looking gorgeous in white Raw Mango teamed with a fuchsia blouse. She added kohl-lined eyes, lovely neckpiece, earrings and a batua.

Alia Bhatt at Masaba Gupta's Reception: This Dulhania made heads turn at Masaba's reception in an embellished lehenga by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Alia killed it with her smokey-eyes and minimal jewellery.

Dia Mirza at Masaba Gupta's Reception: Dia in red Sabyasachi was a sight for sore eyes at Masaba's reception. Her gold jewellery sparkled but Dia's best accessory was husband Sahil Sangha, equally well-dressed in a bandhgala suit.

Sonam Kapoor at Shahid Kapoor's Reception: Sonam can always be counted on to wear something worth looking at. She was photographed in stunning blue and green Anuradha Vakil at her Mausam co-star Shahid Kapoor's wedding reception in Mumbai.

Sonakshi Sinha at Brother Kussh's Mehendi: After all, bhai ki shaadi hai. Sonakshi looked beautiful at her brother Kussh's mehendi ceremony in a white khadi printed lehenga and a sequinned choli. Sona accessorised her look with gorgeous jhumkas and a silver bindi.

Neha Dhupia at Soha Ali Khan's Reception: Actress Neha, another good friend of the bride, picked an unusual and eye-catching outfit for the reception - a black Payal Singhal lehenga, embellished all over with silver birds and flowers. Craftily, she wore no jewellery - it worked.
