The Bachchans' French connection

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya were the guests of honour at a dinner hosted by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel on Wednesday, November 20.

Jaya Bachchan could be seen enjoying a glass of wine.

Amitabh Bachchan was also a part of an initiative by Urja Foundation and Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Memorial Trust Commission for lighting up of unelectrified homes across rural India with solar power.

Director Ram Gopal Varma, who made iconic underworld film Satya in 1998 with Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles, introduced the cast of Satya 2 - Puneet Singh Ratn, Anaika Soti and Anjali Gupta - during the launch of the trailer in Mumbai on September 30. Satya 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Satya.

Anaika Soti, who plays the female lead in Satya 2, looked lovely in a black dress.

Anjali Gupta, who is also a part of the film, looked chic in a black dress.

Puneet Singh Ratn, the lead actor of the film, was suited up for the event.
