SRK, who starred in Farah's first two films as director - Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om - praised her as one of Bollywood's finest directors.

The two also performed a small jig on stage, recreating a scene from Dilwale Dulhaniya Ley Jayengey with SRK playing Raj and and Farah standing in for Kajol as Simran. Farah's co-star, Boman Irani, took Amrish Puri's role as Simran's stern father.

Bela Sehgal, who is making her directorial debut with this film, gets blessings from her mother Leela Bhansali. Bela is the younger sister of ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
