This is getting to be something of an annual event now. For the second time in two years, feuding superstars Shah Rukh and Salman Khan hugged each other warmly at an iftaar party hosted by Congress MLA Baba Siddique in Mumbai on July 6.
Last year, Baba Siddique's annual party was the setting for the first SRK-Salman hug. The actors had been at war since falling out at actress Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008. -
Salman, dressed in a blue shirt, and SRK, dashing in black pathan suit and stubble, embraced each other with some encouragement from their host.
-
SRK and Salman were once good friends and co-stars in films like Karan Arjun. They have been daggers drawn since the infamous fallout in 2008 and, despite last year's famous hug, have not yet admitted to ending their feud.
-
SRK said adaab in his characteristic style.
-
Salman hugged good friend, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty.
-
Lend me your ear: Salman whispers something to Suniel who seems amused.
-
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan (left) and former Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde (extreme right) led the rank and file of local politicians. Seen here with Baba Siddique, his son Zeeshan, Salman and Salman's dad Salim Khan.
-
Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is something of a protegee for Salman, was dapper in a blue blazer worn over a white T-shirt and a pair of denims.
-
Salman's younger brother Arbaaz also received an invite...
-
...so did father Salim Khan.
-
Salman's other brother Sohail Khan and actor Aditya Pancholi, father of Salman's protege Suraj Pancholi, were also present.
-
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was all smiles.
