The Katy-Russell saga!
Double Trouble: Katy Perry and Russell Brand are entertainers in the true sense, but together they are a house on fire. Right from the proposal to their wedding, more crazy stories than one can count have come up.

Katy-Russell get married: American singer Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand are both entertainers in the their own right, but together they are a house on fire. Decked in traditional style, the couple reportedly said 'I do' in the presence of select guests at the Aman-i-Khas resort near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary as a priest chanted mantras around the traditional fire.
-
East meets West: Brand led the marriage procession in a horse, flanked by elephants and camels. It is the same spot where the improved Lothario proposed to the 'Rude Boy' hitmaker this December. To make the wedding a memorable affair, the couple had invited folk musicians and snake charmers to entertain the high profile guests.

According to rumors, not only had Katy covered her whole body with mehndi tattoos, but even Russell was inked for the big day. Sandip Soparrkar and supermodel wife Jesse Randhawa had a performance ready, and famous rapper friend P Diddy was also present to do his bit.

Known for her unconventional dressing sense, she can give the likes of Lady Gaga a run for their money. With fruits as assessories, this diva takes eye-popping fashion to another level. Inspired by Dominique's Lolita, her fashion is reminiscent of decades of culture mixed in an interesting 'vintage concoction'.

Russell (Russell Edward Brand), is known just as much for his unique humor as for his unending controversies. As the only child whose parents had separated when he was only half a year old, Russell had a lonely and traumatic childhood. At the age of 6, he was sexually abused by his tutor.

At 14, Russell had turned into a bulimic drug addict. Hooked onto any drug available, he left his ailing mother when she moved in with her new partner. He stated in an interview that he had a rather strange relationship with his father "whom he saw sporadically and who took him to visit prostitutes during a trip to the Far East".

Stand-Up: His first significant stand-up appearance was at the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year. In his confessional Better Now, he gave an honest account of his heroin addiction, returning the following year with Eroticized Humor. Nationwide tour Shame drew on his own incidents since he had become famous. His second nationwide tour, in 2007, was called Russell Brand: Only Joking and released on DVD as Russell Brand: Doin' Life and was truly 'Scandalous'!

Shocker Alert: His provocative statements even led to death threats by some but there was no stopping this man. He implored the audience to elect Barack Obama and later called then–US President George W. Bush "a retarded cowboy fella", who, in England, "wouldn't be trusted with scissors".
