The same day, far away in Delhi, the Kapoor sisters Kareena and Karisma caught up with Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor. They even managed a selfie between the three of them. While Kareena and Karisma were in the capital for the premiere of Saif Ali Khan's Happy Ending, Sonam was there for a store launch.

Meanwhile, back in Mumbai, a jury of yesteryear actresses announced Amitabh Bachchan as the recepient of the second Yash Chopra Memorial Award.

Hema Malini looked gorgeous in a floral printed sari.

Yash Chopra's wife Pamela said of her husband, "He was never romantic with me, only with his films. He loved nature, rains, music - basically loved life, which translated on screen."

Simi Garewal, a close friend of the Chopras, said "Yash Chopra was a legend and legends should be honoured. Am very proud to be associated with this award and we were unanimous in selecting Amitabh Bachchan as the recipient of this year's award"
