It was a weekend of grand finales on television channels. Three popular reality shows Just Dance on Star Plus, India's Got Talent on Colors and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs on Zee TV chose their winners late Saturday night.

  • It was a weekend of grand finales on TV channels. Three popular reality shows Just Dance on Star Plus, India's Got Talent on Colors and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs on Zee TV chose their winners late Saturday night.

  • Ankan Sen, who has been enthralling TV viewers with his smooth contemporary dance moves finally got his reward when he was declared the winner of reality show Just Dance in a star-studded grand finale aired on Saturday night. The show started off with 13 contestants on board from all over the world.
  • Eighteen-year-old Sen beat Mumbai boy Karan Khanna and Delhi-based Surjeet Bansal, both 24, in the final round. He walked away with the winner's trophy, one crore in cash and a spanking new Maruti Suzuki Swift, which he can officially drive now.
  • The judges' panel also included ace choreographers Vaibhavi Merchant and Farah Khan. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who came to promote his superhero film RA.One, was invited as the special guest on the show, and he added more entertainment to the ceremony.

  • After a nail-biting two months, Suresh and Vernon Group, known for their excellent choreography, won the third season of reality show India's Got Talent.
  • Suresh and Vernon Group, best known for mixing dangerous stunts with electrifying dance steps, emerged victorious in the show aired on Colors. The group won a cash prize of 50 lakh. At the grand finale, the group was pitted against magician Kuddroli Ganesh from Mangalore, young Salsa dancers BAD Salsa from Kolkata, painter Vilas Naik from Bangalore, hip-hop dancer Sanjay Dhaka from Jaipur and spiritual rock band Madhavas Group from Chandigarh.

  • Shah Rukh Khan added superhero sheen to all the grand finales, including Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs.

    Ten-year-old Azmat Hussain was the winner.
  • A student of class 2 at the AL-Ameen Public School in Jaipur, Azmat is still learning to read and write. Among the 18 participants, Azmat was the youngest and always a favourite of the show's judges Kailash Kher, Adnan Sami, Javed Ali and Alka Yagnik.
