Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan made his presence felt at a number of cinema halls in Mumbai on Independence Day. The star was on a theatre hopping spree to witness the audience response to Chennai Express in person.

In this picture, the King Khan poses in front of Maratha Mandir, a cinema hall that holds the record for screening Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge ever since its release in 1995.

The versatile actor looked handsome in a plain black T-shirt worn with blue denims, a grey blazer and white sneakers.

Fans seemed ecstatic on seeing the superstar and none of them wanted to let go of an opportunity to click his pictures on their phones.

Shah Rukh stood on the edge of his car making it easier for faraway onlookers to get a glimpse of him.
