Joanna Krupa: Celebrities are not shy of putting their million dollar bodies to good use. Stunning Polish model and 'Dancing with the Stars' alum Joanna Krupa recently took her clothes off for PETA's 'Be an Angel for Animals' campaign.

The ad reveals how people can their earn wings on earth-by deciding to adopt pets from shelters, rather than buy them from pet stores or animal breeders. A racier version of the ad which shows Krupa with a strategically placed cross against a church-like background however has not gone down well.

The Catholic League was prompt in denouncing PETA's use of religious imagery to make a point: "Pet stores don't rip off Christian iconography and engage in cheap irreligious claims."

Joanna is refusing to back down. "You know, we're trying to spread the word that breeding isn't the way to go," Joanna said in an interview with PETA. "Somebody needs to put their foot down and stop this breeding and these puppy mills...It makes me so angry that our government doesn't do anything about it. So I am!"

Nia Long: Proving that she's oh-so-comfortable in her own skin, the stunning star of 'Big Momma's House' and 'Are We There Yet?' bared it all on the subway for PETA's 'Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' ad.

"When I became a mother, I started to really understand the importance of all living creatures in a way that I didn't ever think about before. And I've realized how important it is that we really take responsibility for...treating animals with love and care just like we would any human being. There's no difference, in my opinion, [between fur and] slavery or the Holocaust.

It's just that we're not dealing with human beings, we're dealing with animals, but it's still a living thing," she was quoted as saying.

Layla Kayleigh: The sexy cohost of MTV's 'America's Best Dance Crew' feels so strongly about stopping product tests on animals that she posed for PETA's first-ever 'Animal Testing Breaks Hearts' ad.

According to Layla: "I don't think people are purposely buying cosmetics and household products that are tested on animals. I just don't think they think twice....It really takes such a small thing to make such big impact, you know, and I feel like the more people get involved, the more it can make a difference." Alicia Silverstone: Hollywood star Alicia Silverstone bared all in PETA's first-ever naked veggie testimonial.

"Like most people, I wasn't always a vegetarian, but I've always loved animals. If you ever have a chance to meet a cow, pig, turkey, or goat, you will see that they are just as cute and funny as your dogs and cats and that they, too, want to live and feel love. They don't like pain. Now when I see a steak, it makes me feel sad and sick because right away, I see my dog or the amazing cows I met at a sanctuary. I've been vegan for 10 years, and it's the single-most important and helpful decision I have ever made. Physically, the effect has been amazing. Once I went vegan, I lost the weight I wanted to lose, my nails were stronger, and my skin was glowing. I feel great, and I look better now than I did 11 years ago," she said in her mesasage to PETA. Jenna Jameson: Glam gal Jenna Jameson knows the importance of birth control - animal birth control (ABC), that is. That's why she posed nude alongside the tagline 'Sometimes Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing' in PETA's ABC ad.

"Until dogs and cats can go on the pill or wear condoms, we need to help them practice safe sex-by spaying and neutering," Jenna said. "Millions of homeless animals are turned in to shelters every year because there simply aren't enough good homes for them all. The answer is as easy as ABC: Animal Birth Control, which means get your Fido or Fluffy fixed!" (Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: PETA)

Maggie Q: Fresh off her roles in 'Live Free or Die Hard' and 'Mission: Impossible III' (alongside Tom Cruise), rising star Maggie Q can only be described as hot. Maggie also stars in a second ad for PETA Asia-Pacific wearing a sexy bikini made entirely of strategically placed lettuce leaves next to the tagline "Turn Over a New Leaf - Try Vegetarian!" A vegetarian for many years, Maggie says that giving meat the boot is one of the most rewarding decisions she has ever made. "The videos are so graphic but they are so necessary for people to watch. I'm so grateful that I did get the opportunity to see them. I had no idea that's how these animals are treated." Khloe said she agreed to pose naked because she wants people to know that she is serious about the fur campaign and that she wanted to do her part. (Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: PETA)

Charlotte Ross: ABC's NYPD Blue took viewers' pulses on a high-speed race when it aired a steamy scene showing David Caruso's bare backside … and then came Dennis Franz. Another cast member also cast aside her inhibitions, but for a cause.

Charlotte Ross, who plays unshakable Detective Connie McDowell on the celebrated series, joined a long line of famous faces-and bodies-to bare it all for animals.

Ross lost her uniform for PETA's 'Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' series, replacing her badge with one, carefully positioned, white rabbit. The two-time Emmy-nominated actor created an arresting image with an enticing message: "I'd rather show my buns than wear fur." The full-page ad was shot by photographer Robert Sebree in Los Angeles.

"In my TV job as a police detective, I have to deal with some pretty cold-hearted characters," said Ross. "But I can't think of anything more heartless than to torment and kill animals in the name of fashion." (Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: (composite) PETA)

Danity Kane: Danity Kane, comprising members Aubrey O'Day, Wanita "D. But the five original members of the group are seen together in this anti-fur campaign for PETA. The pop sensations shed their clothes and posed in the buff for PETA's sexy anti-fur PSA, urging their fans and everyone else to "be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs." Danity Kane bared all because they wanted everyone to know there's nothing glamorous or beautiful about wearing fur.

"Any time we would see people wear it we'd be like, 'Gosh why'd they wear that? That's so sad. That was a living animal at one point,'" Aundrea told PETA.(Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: PETA)

Even with her busy and demanding training schedule, Amanda took the time to bare her skin to help save animals' skins. With the tagline "Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin. Don't Wear Fur," Amanda posed nude to help raise awareness of the cruelty inherent in the fur industry. Amanda launched this ad right before the start of the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. "I have seen a lot of the videos, and [it] brings me to tears," Amanda said. "What [some people] think is pretty is actually something that's very gruesome and gross." Sarah Michelle Gellar: Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who usually has a non-nudity clause built into all her film contracts, decided to make an exception for charity.

The revealing shots for Vaseline showed Gellar as never before. All proceeds from the auction these photos would go to the Coalition of Skin Diseases, a charity promoting awareness about skin protection.

According to Sarah: "Where I am, in New York, I think people forget because people think that if it is raining and snowing that you don't have to protect your skin. I mean, my goodness, it is our biggest organ - it is our outlet to the world."

Eva Mendes: Eva Mendes — the gorgeous star of 'Training Day', 'Hitch', 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico', 'Ghost Rider', and the brilliant 'We Own the Night featuring' Mark Wahlberg and Joaquin Phoenix — is also the face PETA's winter anti-fur campaign.

"Some people still see wearing fur as glamorous and a sign of prosperity. Personally I think wearing a baby chinchilla says, "I'm ignorant," vs. saying "I'm a badass." I don't think you can force people to change their attitudes, but you can help to educate them and to lead by example. … There are way too many amazing faux fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur. I want people to know that there are options; that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn't cool. But respecting all life forms is cool. Very cool," Mendes told PETA in an interview. Kristen was inspired to get involved with PETA's campaign after attending a New York screening of the movie 'Blinders'.

"Well, my friend Jackie saw the movie 'Blinders' and was really affected by it. She's one of my best friends, and she asked me to come to the New York premiere. And I went, and I was blown away by the story and how these horses live—or actually, I should say, don't live," she told PETA. (Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: PETA)

Keeley Hazell: Sexy pin-up model Keeley Hazell quickly became an international hit with her beautiful figure and racy photo shoots.

The Brit then stole hearts with her gorgeous anti-fur ads for PETA. Keeley is a strong believer that fur belongs on the backs of animals and that we should all feel comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs.

"Once you learn how the fur trade treats animals, it's impossible to think of wearing fur as sexy or glamorous. I believe that killing animals for vanity is wrong," she was quoted as saying. (Source: PETA release, Photo courtesy: PETA)

Pamela Anderson: 'Baywatch'bombshell Anderson is a vegetarian, an advocate for animal rights, and an active member of PETA, taking part in several campaigns for animal rights. One of Anderson's campaigns as a member of PETA has been against the use of fur.

"It amazes me that some designers still turn animals into fashion victims. I've written to them all to say, "Foxes and chinchillas are anally electrocuted, beavers are drowned in underwater traps, and minks are injected with weed killer or have their necks broken, all for a tacky coat that makes women look like Bigfoot! Why?" she said in an interview.

Pamela Anderson: Pam, as she is affectionately called, has also appeared in a leafy bikini top and G-string, asking people to 'Turn Over A New Leaf. Try Vegetarian'. "I've found that going vegetarian is the best – and easiest – method of staying slim and sexy. Why go vegetarian? With so many great reasons, I think a better question is, 'Why not?'", said the actor and pin-up queen, who has been a vegetarian since she was sixteen.

Lucy Davis: Lucy Davis, the star of 'The Office' and 'Studio 60', featured in a naked ad urging Britain's Ministry of Defense to stop using bear skins for the traditional caps the Queen's Guards wear.

Here's what Davis had to say about it, "So much money is spent, and so much cruelty is spent, on what at the end of the day is a hat—and that is it. Not only was I horrified to find that it was one bear to make one hat, but also it's not really just one bear—in a way it can be one whole family....That whole family dies, and again, it's just for a hat."

Sadie Frost: Actress and 'fur-free' fashion designer Sadie Frost shot for a nude portrait as part of PETA's anti-fur campaign. It was photographed by rock legend and fellow vegetarian Bryan Adams.

The strapline for the campaign is 'Turn your back on fur'. Frost reportedly worked out for six months before the photo shoot to be in the best shape possible. "Peta's anti-fur campaign is basically about turning your back on fur. Through doing the naked photo, people will hopefully stop and look at the campaign," the star was quoted as saying.

Commenting on the photo shoot, Frost said, "I was definitely a bit nervous on the day but if you are around people you trust it's nice. It's also a nice thing for every woman to have and it's something they should have done at some time in their life."

Natasja Vermeer: International top model Natasja Vermeer has strutted on runways in New York, Paris, and Milan and graced the cover of magazines around the world.

She also stripped down and posed nude to help animals for PETA's infamous naked anti-fur ad series. "I have never worn or modeled fur in my life. I have always made it very clear in my career that I am against it. One time, though, I showed up for my fitting with a big designer in Paris to find out there was fur in the collection. I told them I would not take the job because I am against fur. They wanted to have me do the job and no one else, so they replaced everything with fake fur (I can always tell the difference when I feel it). And of course, I've declined some work sometimes as well...I think these celebrities (who wear fur) are either ignorant or selfish. I do think the unawareness of the people is many times the reason why cruelty or destruction in the world continues, but I would hope the young celebrities of today know the cruelty behind manufacturing fur. If they can still wear it after having this knowledge, then they are just plain selfish and cruel. To have these animals suffer in such a way for the sake of their vanity is too much for me to believe and makes me sick. I have absolutely no respect for them," she was quoted as saying in an interview.

Jane told newspapers, "I hope that, no matter how you feel about eating meat, you will agree with me that animals raised for food should not be grossly mistreated. Chickens raised for meat are commonly crammed by the tens of thousands into filthy warehouses with no access to fresh air or sunlight...I will feel satisfied if this campaign can shock, confront and awaken people globally and make known the suffering of chickens at the hands of KFC. Shot by renowned photographer Trevor Leighton, PETA aims to let people know that every bag, shoe or jacket made from exotic skins comes with a high price – and it's paid for by animals who are ripped from their jungle homes and cruelly killed.

"Fashion is supposed to be fun. But there's nothing amusing about the hideously cruel ways in which exotic animals are killed for the fashion industry. Even if you don't think snakes or crocodiles are cute and cuddly, try to remember that they feel pain just like any other animal," Lisa said in an interview.

The ad was shot by ace photographer Robert Sebree, who has also snapped Joanna Krupa, Christina Applegate, Goran Visnjic, and Nicholas Gonzalez for PETA's anti-fur effort. Sanchez, a bilingual beauty from San Juan, Puerto Rico, decided to show her skin to save animals' skins after seeing what happens to animals in the fur industry.

"There are places in the world [where people] grow animals for the purpose of killing them to be able to get the skin and the coat," Sanchez explained. "[The animals] are electrocuted, they drown them, they suffocate them; it's insanity what they do to these animals....For human beings to take the liberty of just killing something to look pretty is insane," she was quoted as saying.

Tamara's unique message is 'Going Fur-Free Is the Winning Formula'. Tamara explained on the day of the shoot, "I just think it's terrible to harm living animals all in the name of vanity.
