Earlier, Deepika touched down at the city's domestic airport. The actress was on her way back from the NDTV Indian of the Year Awards held in New Delhi on February.
It seemed Deepika - who won Actor of the Year (Female) - didn't have time to change the white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari she had worn to the award ceremony.
Also spotted at the airport was Deepika's rumoured beau and Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh. Ranveer won the Entertainer of the Year at the NDTV Indian of the Year Awards.
