Winners: 58th National Awards

The winners of the National Film Awards 2011 were announced in May this year. The prestigious awards recognize exemplary work in Indian cinema. This year's National Film Awards put regional cinema in focus with Malayalam film Adaminte Makan Abu, winning Best Feature and its lead actor Salim Kumar picking up the Best Actor award. He shared the Best Actor award with Tamil star Dhanush for Aadukalam.
