  • Kaate Nahi Kat Te: This ever famous song from the 1987 film Mr India tops amongst the list of rain songs you've chosen. Picturised on Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, the jhatkas and the lyrics in the song left our hearts racing. And who can forget a drenched Sri sizzling in that blue chiffon sari?
  • Megha Re Megha: A Sridevi number again, this song from the 1991 Yash Chopra film Lamhe, strikes chords even today. We loved watching the actress dance with childlike glee, oblivious of a spellbound Anil Kapoor.
  • Lagi Aaj Sawan Ki: Looks like Sridevi is the Rain Goddess of Bollywood. This song from the 1989 film Chandni, also directed by Yash Chopra, featured the actress in a yellow chiffon sari with co-star Vinod Khanna singing along.
  • Tip Tip Barsa Paani: Possibly the best reason to watch 1994 film Mohra, this song was picturised on Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar. It was unanimously picked by actors Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush as one of their favourite rain songs as well.
  • Barso Re: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's village belle look worked wonders for this song in the 2007 film Guru. The ex-Miss World looked every bit the village damsel, clad in ghagras and cholis, enjoying the showers.
  • Gore Rang Pe Na Itna Gumaan Kar: Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna melodiously teases actress Mumtaz in this song from the 1974 film Roti.
  • Hai Hai Yeh Majboori: Zeenat Aman stole the show in this song. Clad in a floral orange sari, she was seen romancing actor Manoj Kumar in 1974 film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan.
  • Rhimjhim Ke Tarane: One from the oldies, this song featured lead actor Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman. It is from the 1960 film Kala Bazaar.
