The fire broke out at an under-construction residential apartment complex, and Los Angeles Fire Department officials have said they are not expecting any casualties.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman David Ortiz has said more than 250 firefighters were battling the massive blaze. Ortiz said the cause and extent of the fire are not yet known.
