AAP's Arvind Kejriwal Has Trained His Guns on the BJP Ahead of the Delhi Assembly Polls
The former Delhi Chief Minister has attacked the BJP on a number of fronts, including over the induction of his former comrade-at-arms Kiran Bedi into its ranks.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has kept up a steady barrage against the BJP ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

On January 16, Mr Kejriwal addressed a press conference in which he accused Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay of being part of a company that supplied meters to power distribution companies.

Mr Kejriwal also accused the BJP of attempting to incite communal violence, and said it was behind the arson attcks on churches in Delhi.

The Election Commission of India issued a notice to Mr Kejriwal for violations of the Model Code of Conduct over these remarks.

Mr Kejriwal has also attacked the BJP over its recent induction of Kiran Bedi, the former IPS officer and Mr Kejriwal's comrade-at-arms in the Anna Hazare-led India Against Corruption movement, claiming the move proved that the Modi wave had weakened.

Mr Kejriwal also attacked journalist and former party colleague Shazia Ilmi, who joined the BJP a day after Ms Bedi. Another former AAP face to join the saffron party was former lawmaker Vinod Kumar Binny.

Mr Kejriwal sparked a fresh row on Sunday, while addressing an election rally, where he appealed to the voters to "take bribes" from the BJP and Congress, but vote for the AAP.
