Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan along with actress Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Shoojit Sircar attended NDTV's Youth For Change conclave in New Delhi on September 17, a day after the release of their film Pink. They are part of the second session - "How long will we ignore the double standards in our society towards women?"

Mr Bachchan's co-stars Andrea Tariang, Kriti Kulhari and Angad Bedi were in audience.

"I've always believed that daughters and sons should not be treated differently," said Amitabh Bachchan.

"Comments are passed, catcalls are made...it is such a daily affair that when it doesn't happen it seems strange. It is really sad," said Taapse Pannu.

Of women and clothes
"All clothes are normal. How we look at the clothes worn by a woman is just a reflection of our thought," says Shoojit Sircar.
"Men do look at you differently if you dress a certain way. It's not a nice feeling. It's degrading," says Andrea Taring. -
