  • Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that Gujarat has done a good job in 'Clean India' movement and we have a lot to learn from the state. Speaking on Dettol NDTV 'Banega Swachh India' cleanathon, Mr Fadnavis said that Maharashtra will definitely adopt from what Gujarat has implemented. Stressing on the need to inculcate cleanliness as a virtue, he added that it's important to teach the next generation about cleanliness.

  • Taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat' campaign a step further, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu announced mission 'Swachh Andhra Pradesh', aimed at having a toilet in each household. 100 per cent confident of providing toilets to all by 2019, Mr Naidu said he will also create a corporation for the maintenance and upgradation of the toilets. He emphasised that all politicians, corporates should work together for a cleaner India.

He emphasised that all politicians, corporates should work together for a cleaner India.
