Behind The Scenes From The 6-hour #IndiaForKerala Telethon
On August 26, NDTV-Tata Sky in partnership with Dabur, organised a special 6-hour telethon to raise funds to rebuild Kerala, which has been devastated by the worst floods in the state, in nearly hundred years. The goal of a live televised fundraiser held at the Trident Hotel, BKC, Mumbai with guests and donations coming in from across the country was to help families in the worst-affected areas of Kerala. Over Rs 10.5 crore was collected during the telethon, and the funds will be used by partner NGO Plan India.
