Former Chief Minister of Haryana, Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala were sentenced to 10 years jail term for illegally recruiting 3000 teachers.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the son of former Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation over charges of embezzlement.

G Janardhana Reddy - He was accused of being involved in illegal mining of iron ore in Bellary in Karnataka and Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. After being arrested, he was sent to judicial custody.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister, Madhu Koda was arrested on November 30, 2009 in connection with a case of disproportionate assets. Multiple bail pleas by Mr Koda have been rejected.

Maya Kodnani, a former Gujarat minister, was convicted in the Naroda Gam and Naroda Patia riots case. She has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Mohammad Shahabuddin was found guilty in May 2007, for 'kidnapping with intent to murder', and was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Former Madhya Pradesh minister Raghavji was accused of sexual abuse by his domestic help, and has been sent to judicial custody till July 22, 2013.
