Gurgaon is observing 'Car-Free Day' today, first of the move scheduled for every Tuesday to reduce traffic jams and pollution in the city.

On International World Car Free Day, Millennium City's four major stretches have been declared no parking zones.
Gurgaon traffic police urged people not to use cars but walk, ride a cycle, use public transport or car pool. The CEOs and all other employees of several companies cycled to work this morning.
Gurgaon's Rapid Metro, that circles the city, will run more trains today and shuttle bus services are being run from major metro stations to the areas that house offices.

Four major roads of the city - DLF Cyber City, Cyber Park area, Golf Course Road and Electronic City - that are lined with offices have turned car free today.
