Corporates And Schools Attend Behtar India's Fourth CSR Convention In Delhi

NDTV-DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Behtar India held its fourth CSR convention in Delhi and the topic of discussion was - Collaboration is the way forward. The conventions, which have earlier taken place in Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru, saw major participation from schools and students among top officials and heads of the corporate world.

  • The convention started off with giving students a chance to ask questions to the panelists or suggest worthy changes that are required in the society for creating a Behtar India. The student Q&A round highlighted many smart and innovative ideas which are both easy to implement and maintain by citizens of this country.
  • Schools from around Delhi NCR attended the fourth social responsibility convention of NDTV-DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Behtar India campaign, which aims to work towards a better future for India. The core thought of the campaign is to mobilise students, ordinary citizens, corporates to join a nationwide movement that focuses on three main pillars of the campaign - Health, Hygiene and Environment.
  • The panel which came together to discuss collaborative ways to make India a better and more fruitful country for its citizens was invigorating and gave practical ideas and suggestions to the young students who were present in the audience.
  • The guests on the panel included (from left to right): Gowri Ishwaran, CEO, the Global Education and Leadership Foundation; Kandarp Singh, Managing Director, Tetra Pak (South Asia); Anoop Pabby, CEO and MD, DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Company Ltd; Ramesh Vaswani, Executive Vice Chairman, Intex Technologies India Ltd.; Mohini Daljeet Singh, Chief Executive, Max India Foundation and Avijeet Kumar, Director, CAF India.
  • Bluebells International School, Delhi also joined the convention and registered for the campaign as well.
  • Participating schools in the campaign's nationwide competition will have to complete three tasks (Behtar Swasthya, Behtar Swachhta and Behtar Vatavaran) and the top ranking schools will receive prizes at the end of it.
