The Love Parade is a popular electronic dance music festival that originated in Berlin in 1989.
Over the years it gained huge popularity and every year drew hundreds of people. However, on July 24 a stampede that broke out at the venue, marred the festival killing many. (AFP Photo). -
The Memorial Day brought many to the spot, friends and family members of those who died in the pandemonium placed wreaths and lit candles.
