Cerro Negro is the youngest volcano in Central America, and one that's also the most active in the region - it has erupted 23 times since its birth in 1850.

The most attractive thing here is the beauty of this jet-black mountain. It stands in perfect contrast to everything around it! The landscape apart, the reason Cerro Negro is special is because after about an hour hike to the peak, riders strap themselves in and then fly down the side of the volcano. That is called Volcano boarding.
