Going One, Two, Three, Sold! : Prime Minister Modi's Pinstripe Suit Auctioned Off
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's suit with his name woven into it in gold pinstripes was today sold for Rs. 4.31 crore on the third and final day of auction in the port city of Surat in Gujarat.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent quality time with US President Barack Obama in an outfit that spelled out his name, from start to finish, middle name included, which raised quite a furor.
During his stint as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr Modi used to put out gifts received for auction. The proceeds were used to further the education of girls.
