  • 1. Bharatiya Janata Party: The BJP, currently in opposition, have announced Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as their candidate for the post of Prime Minister in the 2014 elections. Other key leaders include L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj and party chief Rajnath Singh.
