Highlights of the 6-Hour Support My School Telethon

The NDTV Coca-Cola Support My School Telethon raised over Rs 20 crore to meet its mission of revitalising 1000 schools. Campaign ambassador Sourav Ganguly and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh joined the Telethon to raise funds and help spread education. Here are the highlights of the Telethon which included insightful discussions on how to improve the Indian education scenario; cricket, Dada's style; and a lot fun and entertainment with Ranveer Singh leaving no opportunity to showcase his dance moves.

  • Actor Sonali Bendre did her bit for the society by donating Rs 5,00,000 to the campaign. She also joined the discussion on the importance of education and said that it all starts at home. "What do I bring to the table as a parent? I want to teach my child to be a compassionate human being who can give back to the society", she added.
