Himachal Pradesh Elections: CM Aspirants Virbhadra Singh, PK Dhumal Cast Their Votes
Traditional rivals - the Congress and the BJP - to lock horns in 68 constituencies as Himachal Pradesh goes to poll today. This time, 337 candidates including 62 legislators are in the poll fray. More than 50 lakh people are expected to cast their votes for the election. Among the heavy weights are Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, eight Chief Parliamentary secretaries, Deputy Speaker Jagat Singh Negi, 10 ministers and over a dozen former ministers.

Hamirpur: BJP's chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal and BJP MP from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur cast their votes. "We aimed to get 50 plus seats but now that we are receiving so much support from all sections of the society, we expect it to cross 60," says Prem Kumar Dhumal.
