Andhra Pradesh is on the boil as the fasting TRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao's condition remains critical. Chandrashekhar Rao's is fasting over the demand for a separate Telangana state. Students of Osmania University, who have now taken leadership of the agitation for a separate state of Telangana, supported by teachers, clashed with the police on Wednesday morning when they were prevented from holding a rally in the University campus.

At least a 100 students and teachers have been arrested for violating Section 144 which has been imposed in all the 10 districts of the Telangana region. Students started pelting stones at police forcing them to resort to lathicharge. 23 vehicles were damaged in the clash.

KCR refused IV fluids, antibiotic tests and also blood tests. Morning tests could not be taken. Doctors have said he has to resume oral fluids immediately failing which his condition would deteriorate further. This has been communicated to KCR and his family members.
